Dark Grey Modern Kitchen
Designed with a sleek, contemporary aesthetic, this modern kitchen combines dark cabinetry, bright worktops and thoughtful features to create a stylish and practical space for everyday living.
For this project, our clients wanted a modern kitchen that would make the most of their large open-plan space, with a clean, streamlined design and plenty of functionality.
The Kitchen Design
The design centres around a spacious open-plan layout, with a peninsula providing a natural spot for casual dining and morning coffee.
The combination of dark cabinetry and bright white worktops creates a striking contrast, while the integrated appliances and hidden utility space help maintain its clean, uncluttered appearance.
Our Design Choices
We chose Rotpunkt Küchen’s Power LX fronts in Carbon, creating a sleek and contemporary look throughout the kitchen. The rich, dark finish is complemented by brushed chrome details, adding a subtle contrast to the cabinetry.
The white quartz worktops provide a beautiful contrast against the Carbon cabinetry, bringing a sense of light and brightness to the kitchen.
Integrated Bosch appliances fit neatly into the design, helping to maintain the streamlined appearance while providing everything needed for everyday cooking.
One of the standout features of this kitchen is the clever hidden utility space, concealed behind seamless doors. This practical addition keeps everyday essentials out of sight, helping the main kitchen remain neat and organised.
The peninsula also provides a lovely social element to the space, with seating for casual meals or a morning coffee. The contrasting green bar stools and feature pendant lighting add personality to the design, softening the overall look of the dark cabinetry.
The result is a beautifully modern and functional kitchen.
The combination of sleek cabinetry, contrasting finishes and thoughtful practical features has created a wonderful open-plan space that feels both stylish and welcoming.
