SOLID WOOD
Solid wood is a timeless material that brings warmth and elegance into your home or office space. What makes it so popular is that it is totally natural, as it is made up of 100% solid wood taken from a tree with no other materials added. Solid wood flooring is still a popular choice amongst our customers, for those looking to add character and texture to a space, and be able to sand down and restore over time.
ENGINEERED WOOD
Engineered floors were developed around half a century ago by the Scandinavians, and are more stable in changing weather conditions than solid-wood options. Engineered wood flooring is becoming increasingly more common, not only for the variety it offers but also as customers are looking for more sustainable options.
It is a composite wood floor made up of a solid wood top layer with balanced layers of marine plywood underneath to prevent excessive expansion and contraction. As a result, this type of wood floor can be cost effective whilst still achieving a very similar look and feel to a solid wood floor.
Both our solid wood and engineered floors are available in a wide variety of designs which can be expertly installed by our team.
